The Show Me Math app offers a visual approach to explaining mathematical computations through short animated sequences that illustrate each problem with tangible objects. For example, the addition problem 7 + 6 = 13 is depicted by showing seven ants joining six others, aiding students in conceptualizing the operation. The app provides a choice of four animated objects—sheep, ants, jelly beans, or ping pong balls—to enhance engagement and provide variety.

It covers fundamental operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, with all numbers restricted to values of 20 or less in both quiz and instructional modes. Students can input answers via tapping numbers on a number line, selecting from multiple-choice options, or drawing their response with a finger in the answer box. Performance data are saved individually for each student and can be printed for record-keeping. The application supports an unlimited number of users with customizable settings and includes scanning capabilities to assist students with physical disabilities.
